Signaling Transfer Point (STP)
Common Channel Signaling System (CCS7 and SS7) is a set of protocols used by switching exchange networks to communicate information between nodes. Signaling networks became more complex since deregulation laws are being approved in many countries. To cope with that complexity, VoiceOverNet introduced its Signaling Transfer Point (STP) device.
